How difficult it is to take your child out of the bed and send them to school?

You need not worry much as not willing to go to school is a common issue faced by parents. It is a temporary phase that can be calmly tackled as a parent. You can also get some training in Vietnam to handle children having trouble or being unwilling to attend school!

Most good students are not born as good learners. The individual personality of a child plays a major role in the willingness of a child to learn and their overall character when it comes to schooling and education. To be precise, any student, who has the basic knowledge and receives the right motivation, can become a good learner. Your child is naturally eager to gain knowledge and by making school and homework pressure-free, you can help to reduce his stress and improve his academic achievement.

Let’s look at the 8 ways that can motivate your child to go to school!

1. Never be rude:

Whenever your child complains about going to school, you should treat him politely even if you are refusing. You must rather make him/her realize calmly why it is important to attend school and make them learn the ‘trouble of going to school’ in the right spirit. You might not be able to make them understand by being rude.

2. Discuss their issues

Does school routine make your child tired? Have they been able to make friends in their class or struggling with it? Are they facing issues learning a particular subject? Get to know the actual cause of the problem by discussing their issues at length. Children go through a transition period from being at home all the time to spending a significant part of the day in a new environment. So you should handle them in a way that they confide in you.

3. Give them a reason to look forward to going to school

Children will surely be fond of one or another subject. You should playfully encourage them to wait for that subject period at school. This will reduce their pressure and they will look forward to that fun-filled period in school.

4. Convince them that teachers are there to help

Few children are too shy to socialize in school. If by any chance, they get scolded by a teacher for any reason, they tend to become more secluded and develop a fear for teachers in general. This can be one of the main reasons to go to school. The teacher needs to explain to them that the teacher will praise them if they don’t perform the same mistake. Help them grow confidence. Once a teacher praises a student, there will be no more fear.

5. Put their favorite treats in their tiffins!

Nothing can be better for a foodie’s heart than good food. If your child is tired of the same old cheese sandwich, you can try some cream rolls, pasta, or spaghetti for a change. That will enhance their taste buds and make them wait till recess!

6. Consult teachers to know if the children are being bullied

Are your children victims of bullying s? Do they keep it a secret or share it with you? Can you feel that they are scared? It’s high time you take a hold of the situation by speaking to the class teacher. This kind of trauma, if unreported, can be very disastrous for your children’s health.

7. Spend more time with children

Children need the attention of their parents to survive. If the children lack attention from either the mother or the father (or both), it’s a serious issue of negligence on your part as a parent. You can make it up by spending as much quality time with them so that they don’t miss you at school.

8. Ensure a sound sleep routine:

Does your child remain awake late at night? Is your family usually late to go to bed? Do you have a habit of packing school bags as early as 5:30 am? You must know that a minimum of 10 hours’ sleep is a must for any toddler. Make sure that your children sleep well at night so that they stay energized throughout the school.

Thus, the above-stated ideas can be incorporated to handle your children when they refuse to go to school and motivate them to attend school regularly! The above solutions can also be useful for an online Nursery Teacher as they can instruct parents to try out these tricks to motivate their child!
